Edward G. Troy is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the GAB Robins Group of Companies. GAB Robins is a leading provider of global risk management services and solutions to the insurance and self-insured marketplace.
In this position, Mr. Troy is responsible for the profitable growth, management and overall strategic direction of the company.
Mr. Troy has more than 35 years of risk management and property/casualty experience. He joined GAB Robins in 2005 as President and CEO. Prior to that, he served for four years as President of ESIS, a risk management services company that is part of ACE USA. During 2003-2004, he also was Executive Director of Regional Executive Operations for ACE USA, the U.S. operating division of the ACE Group of Companies, which provides insurance and reinsurance for clients worldwide.
After beginning his career as a casualty underwriter for The Hartford Insurance Company, Mr. Troy moved on to hold senior leadership positions with other major insurance companies, including Liberty Mutual, AIG and CNA. He also served as President of Ed Troy Associates, a risk management consulting company with clients that included Fortune 500 corporations, global carriers, and national insurance brokerage houses.
Mr. Troy attended the College of Insurance of New York and the Executive Education Program of The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Alan Mansfield is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for the GAB Robins Group of Companies. GAB Robins is a leading provider of global risk management services and solutions to the insurance and self-insured marketplace.
In this position, Mr. Mansfield is responsible for the global financial management of the GAB Robins Group of Companies.
Mr. Mansfield, who has more than 25 years of experience in finance, previously served as Senior Vice President and Financial Officer for ESIS, a risk management services company that is part of ACE USA. In this role, he had responsibility for all aspects of the company’s financial management and achieved numerous accomplishments, including significantly increasing assets and revenue, improving pre-tax profit margins, and controlling operating expenses.
After beginning his career as a General Practice Auditor for Coopers & Lybrand, Mr. Mansfield moved to Cigna Corporation as an Internal Auditor in 1983. He held several positions of increasing responsibility at Cigna before joining ACE USA as Assistant Vice President - Business Unit Reporting and Expense Analysis in 1999. Three years later, he moved to ESIS as Controller and was promoted to Senior Vice President and Financial Officer in 2002.
Mr. Mansfield received his BS in Accounting from Drexel University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Michael G. Repoli is President of GAB Robins’ North American operations. GAB Robins is a leading provider of global risk management services and solutions to the insurance and self-insured marketplace.
In this position, Mr. Repoli oversees all field operations for North America including loss adjusting, TPA Services and Managed Care serving insurance carriers, brokers, managing general agencies and self-insured entities.
His career in the insurance risk management industry began as a claims adjuster handling self-insured claims for the transportation industry. From there he moved to Nationwide where he handled all lines and then went to INA and later ESIS, serving as Claims Manager and Regional Claims Manager respectively. He also served as Executive Vice President of Sales for ESIS. In addition to claims management experience, he has a diversified insurance background that includes insurance carrier, broker, managing general agent and technology experience. That experience includes positions with Aon Services Group (Executive Vice President), Munich–American Risk Partners (Senior Vice President), Maryland Insurance Group (President and CEO) and CIGNA Special Risk Facilities (Senior Vice President). Mr. Repoli joined GAB Robins in December 2006.
He attended the University of Rhode Island and studied at the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University and the Institute for Management Development in Lausanne, Switzerland. He also holds the Associate in Risk Management designation.
